I'm thinking about going to a tanning bed for my first time and have some questions:?

1. Is it safe to use a tanning bed for once or twice a month and about 10 min.?

2. What precautions can I take to prevent any burning but still get a good tan?

3. Does anyone have any suggestions for a first-timer?

4. Is it true that tanning beds help heal and prevent break-outs?
I'm thinking about going to a tanning bed for my first time and have some questions:?
1.I wouldnt say safe but then what is in life? I know people who use the sunbeds 4 times a week and have done so for years!

2.Dont go on for too long at first, build it up over time and it will look much better! Use plenty of body lotion afterwards and before becuase it will prevent your skin drying out.

3.Dont expect to be brown after one session!

4.The tanning beds can help breakouts but also can cause cold sores if you are prone so watch out! It is also good for eczema too.My friend swears by it.
I'm thinking about going to a tanning bed for my first time and have some questions:?
1-yea, you can go more if you want, like once a week

2-use lotion they recommend or have at the salon

3-dont over do it, start short then increase time

4-umm im not too sure, you could ask at the salon
Reply:No!!!!!!!!!

1. It is never safe to use a tanning bed!

2. You can take all the precautions you want, but you will never get a good tan

3. suggestion- get tan naturally, during summer, or else it will be totally obvoius that it's fake.

4. Tanning does not help heal or prevent breakouts. It just hides the ones you've got and then makes you break out more.

and plus, do you really want to be in a tanning bed where tons of other people have laid? Most places don't even sanitize.
Reply:1. It is never actually safe to use a tanning bed.

2. Use fake tan lotions.

3. Don't move around a lot, close the bed all the way, wear goggles, don't forget a sticker if you want one.

4. No, it may seem so at first because it makes it so you can't see them as well... but in the end it just makes them worse.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
