Are self tanning lotions harmful in any way?

I have started using the sunless tanning lotions. Are they harmfull in any way--Like the dyes or whatever it is that makes you turn color?!?

No, worked for a dermatologist, and it's the best thing you can do for yourself if you want to look tan...it's the suntanning, and tanning beds that are hurting people, and especially the young, don't think about when they are older, the consequences that all the damage the sun and tanning beds are doing to them...it's fine, it's safe, and you look tan...go at it..
