Can Black People Use Tanning Cream/Spray?

I want to achieve a new look by applying some tanning cream on myself. I am black and quite dark but not too dark. Can I use some tanning cream to look a little bit different?.

hey come now! youre already dark lol, you dont need a tan. if its a self tanning cream they tend to make me look orange personally, they dont last very long either. ive used em and done the instructions and everything, but they rub off. i dont even know how that would turn out on you... i guess you can try it out though. :)

I don't know. I'm sure it would make you look a little bit different. go ahead and try..but make sure you get a fake tan--real tanning is super bad for your skin. and i've heard that black people are at a bigger risk for skin cancer because their burns don't show up as much.

Reply:I don't understand why you would want to use a tanning cream. ARe you not happy with you complexion? Do you wish to be darker? Why do you want to 'look a little bit different'? I suggest getting a haircut or different style of clothing...not putting potentially harmful chemicals on your skin or frying your skin and risking cancer just to have a darker complexion...
