What do you think is better sun tanning or tanning beds? Why?

I am doing a persusive speech on tanning beds and sun tanning and i am asking people what they think is better and healthyer. Thank you if you answer my question you are a big help. Just Please tell me why you think what you think. Thanks!! God Bless!!
What do you think is better sun tanning or tanning beds? Why?
I think an excess of either one is horrible for your skin. Out of the 2 I would go with sun tanning (in small doses) only because the sun has Vitamin D which is beneficial to you. Nothing good comes out of tanning beds.
What do you think is better sun tanning or tanning beds? Why?
Sun tanning; the UV rays in tanning beds are stronger than direct sunlight. Even though tanning is bad for you either way, sun tanning is a little less dangerous (if you have sunscreen!)
Reply:I think natural sun tanning is better.
Reply:I like tanning beds because its faster then sun tanning outside
Reply:neither, they both can cause cancer. the tanning bed will cause it much sooner!!! So if you must do sun tanning and not the tanning bed. I wish you would read some of the studies though. It sure will age you, one reason I did not do it and do not have wrinkles at 39!!!
Reply:Natural sunlight is better, but too much, when you are 40 years old you may look like you're 60
Reply:Sun tanning for sure. I can't see you in a tanning bed.
Reply:Both the sun and tanning beds both emit harmful UV rays. Some people think tanning beds are better for you, because you only lay about 20 minutes, but just think how long you have to lay out in the sun to be as dark as you are in only 20 minutes in a bed. This should tell people how much stronger tanning beds are than the sun. I personally love to lay out in the sun. I know that one day I will probably have tons of wrinkles or even skin cancer. But like most Americans I don't tend to look into the future about things like that. Just like smoking, people know it can kill you but they still do it.
Reply:Sun Tanning is healthier. But in my opinion tan is very bad for your skin even if you think you feel better or look better its bad. Everyday outside work sun is ok and being at the beach but you should never purposely lay in the sun. But tanning does make people look better.
Reply:I believe that the suns natural rays (in moderated doses) should be enough to achieve healthy tan.

I find that tanning beds leave an unnatural looking tan that doesn't look so healthy. Almost as if the skin had been fried.
Reply:it depends whether you do it frequently and how long because both are known to cause skin cancer and other types of cancer. so try to keep you're skin as natural looking as possible a light tan or spray on tan usually does it for some people but hey its their choice. I recomend the sun.
Reply:Suntanning beds are bad. You are lierally baking your skin. Its not just the UV rays you have to worry about. Its the heat that is toxic. It causes skin atrophy(thin skin) Not too many people know that you can get heat induced skin lesions and heat induced skin cancer. This skin condition is called erythema ab igne. I worked in a steel foundry for 5 year and I had the beginnings of it. Lucky, my doctor caught it in time. My skin stil burns every day though. My advice is no matter what suntanning you do is to keep your skin cool. Suntan lotion has oil in it that traps in heat.
Reply:Girl, did you know that sunshine kills people? It is a well known documented medical fact.

It is best to avoid long exposure to sunshine, as it causes skin cancer.
