What is the best brand of sunless tanning lotion that gives a natural appearance?

I have used several shades of Jergen's Natural Glow and one of my friend says (without knowing the cause) that my skin was looking a little yellow. What is the best brand that gives a natural appearance. I am a fairly light colored caucasion but I do tan. I just don't want to get too much sun or in a tanning booth because my family ancestry and parents are very succeptable to skin cancer. So I want to avoid repeating a dangerous past....If I don't get an answer then I won't be discouraged. A tanned appearance is not everything.

I prefer Dove lotion with the sun less tanners in it. It takes a few day to get a tan but it more natural looking then those faster ones.

Reply:Use Jergans natural glow moisturizer. It dosen't streak and it's suddle so you don't just show up with a tan in one day so those around you will think it's real and if you apply it too thick in one area, it only takes a day or so to wear off. I use it durring the warm months and nobody knows that I am "fake and baking".

Reply:I always get compliments. I use Banana Boat Products Self Tanners. Cheap and available everywhere.
Reply:It all depends on individual and it's mostly a trial-and-error thing cos everyone's skin reacts differently to products. However, I think I've heard a lot of good review from a lot of people who use Banana Boat Sunless Tanning Lotion. It's cheap and good.





Also very important is that after you apply a fake tan, you have to stay away from soap that has a very high pH value (ie. very alkaline and strong) cos very alkaline soap turns your fake tan into a yellowish orange hue. So you're better off sticking to soap n shower gel with a neutral pH of 7 (like Dove) or pH 5.5 (which is the natural pH state of human skin)
