Tanning bed rash?

after tanning in the bed for about 15 minutes i get a heat rash on my **** and chest, how can i prevent this? i use proper lotion after, and i know the bed is clean. the rash is very red and there are bumps close together. it goes away after 1 day but i want to prevent this so it doesn't keep happening. i have also gone down to 10 minutes in the bed, but it was still there after :(
Tanning bed rash?
STOP TANNING. Its not healthy and always looks fake. This is your body crying for help.
Tanning bed rash?
dont that tell you that your skin doesnt like it.
Reply:Sorry to tell you but tanning beds are just as bad as the sun is, you can get skin cancer from them just as easily and also burn as bad as if in the sun. It might be the lotion that is causing the rash, you might have an allergy to it, I'd try a different one.
Reply:Weird...I go tanning and this has never happened to me. Maybe you're going to a place where the UV levels are higher, try a different tanning salon this one might be damaging your skin more. I stopped tanning because my cousin got skin cancer and died from it when she was only 23. :( I get professional spray on tans now...my skin looks tanned by I won't get wrinkles, red spots, or cancer. :)
Reply:the only time it ever happened to me i was on the pill and i have to stop taking it
Reply:might be some kind of funky fungus or bacteria that is resistant to the cleaner you are using. After all, bugs are bugs and they will become resistant to killers if the same one is used often.
Reply:it could be that the beds are too harsh. or it could be that your allergic to the lotion your using, if any. you might want to try a new lotion, or different salon.

Happy Tanning =D
