Can tanning hide Streatch Marks?
I don't think tanning stuff will help, but I think they make stretch mark cream that is made to hide stretch marks--look on line, then check places like Walgreens for it...I'd do that before putting tanning stuff on--plus, if you're black, tanning stuff is usually made for white people and the tone would be all off!!
Can tanning hide Streatch Marks?
NO! it makes em show up more
Reply:I have stretch marks and when I am tanned they seem less prevalent, but I'm white so dont knwo if that would make a difference. You can buy creams and oils to help get rtid of them
Reply:No obefence, but being black and wanting darker? I have never had any of my black friends to want to get darker, they always stay out of the sun wanting to be lighter. Anways, stress marks on white people get darker then the skin around the mark. So I would assume to same for you. The spray on tan called Legs is a good product and really last and doesn't wash off immidentaly. Its gradually over 3-4 days.
Reply:Ah,

I see well you can get vitiman E lotion and rub it on your stretch marks for err... maybe 8 weeeks.. during this time yor stretch marks will still be visible.. but then you'll see then start to disapear.

Oh and to answer your quesion about tanning.. I wouldn't try it.
Reply:no it might lighten them but they will show, i would not use spray tanning stuff, ,go to a tanning salon a or call and ask if they can answer your question, i have had stretch marks for 30 years and when i tan they tan some but they still show up
Reply:I would use vitamin E OIL (purchase at any drug store) 2-3 times a day to heal the skin. I have used during pregnancy and it really helps. Especially on scars!

Good luck
Reply:Depending on how dark you are, tanning may not have a lot of effect on you. Tanning sometimes accents stretch marks as that skin doesn't always tan well and ends up much lighter than the tanned area and maybe even somewhat shiny looking.

I have a lot of stretch marks and they tan somewhat on me, but not as dark as my unstretch marked skin.

If you are going for sunless tanning, I don't know what the results would be. I'd suggest getting a small bottle of sunless tanner and trying it on a stretch mark area that typically wouldn't show. If you have good results, you may choose to go the spray route.
Reply:No, it will make them show more, if the marks have any depth to them. You want to get rid of them for good? Try couple of sessions of fraxel laser. It's not a walk in the park though, I'll tell you. It all depends how much you wanna get rid of them.
Reply:Tanning will certainly help with the marks being less noticeable, and you might want to try some good tanning cream, these help also.
Reply:well not really...if you want your strech marks to fade then go to boots and ask for a cream or somthing...that should help!!
