Stupid Question about tanning?

I dont tan at all... but I was just wondering If you can wear sunblock in the tanning beds to prevent damage to skin?
Stupid Question about tanning?
yes you can wear sunblock.
Stupid Question about tanning?
absolutely. I always cover my tattoo. The tanning salon will usually always have some on hand....
Reply:Yes, there are special types of lotion made for it.
Reply:Yes,it's a great idea.
Reply:i wouldn't advise tanning beds. 30 mins in them = 8 hours in the sun. and sunblocks (or at least many of them) have a lot of chemicals in them which aren't healthy
Reply:that would defeat the purpose of paying money for a tan. You either want a tan w/skin cancer and lots of wrinkles in 20yrs, or you want skin that will be the envy of all your wrinkled friends in 20yrs..
Reply:Sadly no. You probably won't tan well in a bed if you don't tan well indoors either. Any time you burn or tan (using sunblock or not) you get skin damage. If you still want to tan, I'd sugest Mystic tan. I use it and it works great for me.
Reply:I don't tan very well. I'm very light complected and at times can blend into my white clothing lol.

But I like who I am. I figure why try to be someone I'm not. The only reason most people even get tans is because society tells us thats what is beautiful.

If you insist on tanning in a bed.. don't spend more than 20 minutes at a time - 3 days a week. Sunblock is good to use but it won't allow you to achieve a very good tan at all.

There are however, bronzing tanning lotions that have an SPF in them.. go for one of those so you wont have to spend as much time under the bulbs.
Reply:ha ha ha ha ha like OMG that was like totally stupid lol hehe
