Someone once said that a trick to get rid of stretch marks was to use sun-tanning lotion. I have a felling that as an african -american, this might actually work. Is it safe to try it, I'm going to try on a small area to test. Do these products have bad effects on african american skin. Know any products that can tan, but not too dark of a tan? what about bronzers? please help.

what they say works in the sun tan lotion is the cocoa butter.. it has an effect to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks. i never had any luck with it as my prego belly still looks like a new jersey road map, but maybe you will..lol!

It won't hurt you but it won't work !! Try vitamin E gel it won't get rid of all of them but it helps to fade the marks or you could get some coco butter and rub that on them !!
Reply:it won't make the stretchmarks dissappear, it will only make them less noticeable. You can try.
