Can tanning give a side effect to waxing?

Example: If i go tanning couple of times before i go for a wax, could my skin have a side effect after the wax?

No... but if you get burned, the waxing is going to hurt a hell of a lot more.

if i were u i would wax and then tan.
Reply:i don't think so but your skin might be paler under the hair that you have removed.
Reply:I don't think so. But you wouldn't want to go tanning AFTER you wax for at least a few days. The waxing process will remove the top layer of skin and make your skin more susceptable to getting burned.
Reply:No, but you will shorten the life of your tan. Sometimes, tanning will cause skin to become dry and flaky, especially if you're prone to peeling. Wax can easily remove the top layer of dry flaky skin, thus shortening the life of your tan. Try an after-wax cream to help reduce irritation normally associated with waxing (regardless of tanning). DO NOT wax first, then tan, you will be more likely to burn. The wax can remove a top layer of skin, revealing fresher more vulnerable skin underneath that may burn more easily. I know, I have experienced this. Tan first, then wax. Wait at least a couple of days for your skin to rejuvenate before you tan again.
