I have this Loreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Gelee and hear it works for alot of people, but just wondering if you have to do something before putting it on because last time it didnt work?

EXFOLIATE! Take a loofa or a wash rag with some exfoliator products that have gentle beads in them...the self tanner sits on the outer layer of the skin. When you exfoliate you will show the fresh new skin and the self tanner will develop and will last a bit longer and also ensure it being even. Watch your products you use, if you use a product with mineral oil in it then try to put a self tanner on the mineral oil forms a barrier and ti wont allow the tanning product to be absorbed which could be why it did not work before. Leave it on prior to showering for about 4-6 hours, then when you shower try not to use anything abrasive whcih would speed up the skins natural exfoliation process.
