What tanning bulbs are better? UVB or UVA?

i know i shouldnt go tanning but i heard that uvb bulbs are better.. whats better? and whats the difference between VHO and VHR beds?
What tanning bulbs are better? UVB or UVA?
that's like asking which is better, vodka or tequila? they are both alcohol, lol. Stay away from tanning and be proud of the skin you are in. come on, you are way better than media-generated stereotypical views of women needing to look bronze to be beautiful!
What tanning bulbs are better? UVB or UVA?
The main difference in UVA and UVB rays are that UVB are the rays that burn or damage the outer layers of skin, while the UVA rays are the aging rays and actually change the skin cells making the skin age faster underneath such as collagen, etc. The UVA rays are what can cause melanoma. I don't know about the others you asked about. Just tan in moderation.
Reply:There are other healthier ways of getting a tan. I have been using tanning beds most of my adult life and I am now waiting to see a dermatologist to see if I have skin cancer, it is not fun. I always thought or maybe I should say I was not thinking that it would happen to me. Unfortunately I have all the symptoms of skin cancer. I now wish I could go back because if this does turn out to be skin cancer it is a cancer that I brought on myself and could have been prevented. But I loved the sun and tan. So if you love the sun, do yourself a favor and stay out of the tanning beds or you may someday have to stay away from the sun you love.
