Can tanning fix acne?

i heard that uv light will kill bacteria so i was wondering if maybe going tanning will fix the acne i've been getting lately?

I'm not sure about uv light killing bacteria, but uv lights do dry out your skin just like Salicylic Acids ( the stuff found in acne medications), plus tanning will help even out your skin tone.





but if you have acne so bad that you have craters- Tanning can leave scars if you tan too often.

Reply:im not sure about uv light and bacteria but whenever i go tanning it definately makes my skin clearer, i thought it was just because it drys the skin out which makes it less oily which leads to breakouts
Reply:yes. it makes it look better because it hides the discolorations in the skin more. also, i think i did hear that it was somewhat good for your face to be in the sun if you have acne.
