Tanning good for eczema?

I heard somewhere that using a tanning bed (not frequently though) would offer me some relief from my eczema? Is this true?

I would check with your dermatologist about that. I have eczema too and I'm also allergic to the sun, as well as many common sunscreens, so you wouldn't catch me in a tanning bed. But on the other hand sunshine is supposed to be good for certain things. If anything it may help to dry out your skin a little if you're in the weeping phase of the disease. Go easy with it though. yep it helps me out alot...i dont go tanning often but when i do my face looks great a couple days afterwards
