Whats the best self-tanning lotion?

I have REALLY pale skin and I'm going to Las Vegas at the end of July. And I can't go tanning because of the mediciation that I'm on, so what do you guys suggest is the best self tanning lotion on the market? I don't care much for price, just something that will look good and won't get blotchy.

Also, if I use that up until a week before I go and then get a spray tan would it look bad or will it make it look even better? Help gals!

I've tried many, and in my opinion, St. Tropez is the best self tanner on the market. It doesnt leave your skin orange and if you exfoliate and apply evenly, it wont be blotchy. You can get it at Sephora or Bath and Body Works. However, Ive been to a few BBW and they didnt carry it. If I were you, I wouldnt use self tanner for a week then go for a spray tan. It is two different self tanners with most likely two different combinations of chemicals and ingredients. Who knows how your skin would look. Especially since you are very pale. If you desperately want to get a spray tan, two weeks before you leave, I would go get a spray tan, and then a day or two before you leave, go back to the same place and get another spray tan.

Dove makes a good gradual tanning lotion.
Reply:I have pale skin also and I love this one called body drench, whipped chocolate. It smells wonderful and doesn't turn out orange or have that funky smell that a lot of lotion tanners do. And it comes out as a foam and goes on smooth. And works great to build up a tan. That's the only way I can have tan legs! And it makes a difference to exfoliate before you put it on. You can usually buy it at beauty supplys. (If you have an Ed Wyse beauty supply?) Of have them order it for you. And you can go online also.
