Dove self tanning?

I usually use sunbeds but have decided I'm not going to due to the health risks...my eyes have been opened by a friend!haha. Anyway I just bought that dove self tanning and put my 2nd application on last night and its streaky. I know the basic rules of applying fake tan but it just doesn't seem to work, my hands and arms ar streaky...does anyone know a solution?x

It really shouldn't do this as it didn't with me. Make sure you have exfoliated your skin propelry...all I do is use those scrub gloves. I soap them up in the shower and scrub my whole body. Shake the self tanning lotion bottle well and moisturise your whole body with it. Mix with your usual moisturiser if this is too dark for you. Make sure you soap your hands after each application. Also avoid using too much of the tanning lotion on your elbows, knees and ankles.

I have also started using dove self tanning lotion and have been told by a close friend of mine that she also uses self tanning lotion. And to stop getting streaks, she mixes the tanning lotion in with her normal moistoriser. And it does work, i have no streaks and the tan looks great. It may take more time to build the tan up but its worth it as you dont get streaks.Dont forget to wash your hands after though else your hands go horrible.
Reply:I tried it and mine isn't streaky at all. Maybe it wasn't mixed well in the container??
