Tanning Beds???
i would embrace ur paleness, tanning beds are really bad for your skin, you can risk skin cancer and possibly die! and fake tans make u look orange.
Tanning Beds???
Don't fake n bake, it's the worst mistake. It gives you skin cancer and makes your skin leathery. Fake tans are better!!!
Reply:Less than ten minutes since ur pale. Dont worry im really pale too :( Remember you have to be a certain age to get in by urself so i would take ur mom with u
Reply:All I know is tan chix are hot.
Reply:like 7 minutes to start u out ...yeahhhh im pale too!
dont use anything to "help" you tan...u will burn!
Reply:when u go in clean it and then they will start it ....if u r pale lay 4min for a wk then each week go up 2min.
Reply:I realize that your mother has said you can go,, but here are some statistics about tanning beds. Just tanning in the sun is bad for you skin, it dries it out and can cause cancer. Going to a tanning bed at least triples the chance the chance of you getting skin cancer, even if you just do it once. Think twice or more before you go and do it, especially as you are so pale, you can do a lot of damage to your skin. Is it really worth it.
Reply:When you go there will be a lot of different types of beds to use. Ask the employee if you can use the lowest bed type for minimal time (different low beds vary in time)..it will probably be for about 10 minutes. Next time you go you can use that same bed for the full time which will probably be 15 minutes. After that you can use a stronger bed completely, but be careful, if you start burning at all take a a longer break in between tanning times. As for what to do when you get inside the tanning bed room, just get naked put on tanning lotion, and i always put sunblock on my face since facial skin is so sensitive. Ask the employee to show you where the button to start the bed is and press it when you're ready. the fan will start automatically and lay down, make sure you wear something to protect your eyes. The bed will turn off automatically when your done..get dressed and thats it, your tan! good luck lol.
Reply:Tanning beds are to be used in moderation, if at all. However, I'm sure you're already aware of the bad side of them. Basically, make sure your skin is moist (they usually sell formulas at the salon) before you go in. Dry skin wont hold the tan as well. Also, 7 minutes should be a good time to be in there for your first time. You need a base tan, otherwise you'll burn and peel. No fun!
Try not to use tanning beds too often, as you're guaranteed to regret it as you grow older and all your friends are looking much younger than you because they stayed away from the harsh rays.
Lastly, ask your salon about "spray tan".... just as effective... and much more safe.
Good luck!
Reply:I would stay away from tanning beds. One 1/2 hour session can do as much damage as 8 hours in the sun! there are great spray tans you can get that won't turn you orange, if you do go to a tanning both, make sure its not a normal thing, only ever once in a while! [=
