Okay, today I tried a tanning booth..... my friend was going and I was riding with her and I didn't feel like just standing around and waiting so I thought that I'd try it out. It seemed okay, until a few hours later when I realized that my back seems much darker than the rest of my body. I'm sure it'll lighten but for those that always use tanning booths, how do you prevent that from happening? Just curious. Thanks.
Ps. I know the dangers of tanning booths, so spare me the lecture. I just wanted to try it out :o)
What's the deal with tanning booths?
it just the booths tan faster the the beds and that's why the longer you get in there it will even out... and it get all over your body where the beds don't... i love them... good luck!
What's the deal with tanning booths?
Actually I either use a stand up bed or I will actually flip in the lay down ones. If you don't you tend to get pressure point whiteness.
Reply:I love the beds and the booth, have never had a problem with either, call the owner and ask was all the bulbs on in the booth. That may explain the reason.
Reply:next time try the tanning spray..less expensive
Reply:The deal is that UV rays esp UV-B damages the DNA in skin cells and with enough damage you get wrinkly real quick and it can also trigger cells to become cancerous. Skin cancer is very common.
Reply:put tanning lotion on and sunscreen too
Reply:Seriously, I suggest you stop.
it's REALLY cancerous.
Reply:You layed on your back longer than your stomach. You gotta flip throughout the session, bring a watch or timer to remind you when to turn over. Use a tanning lotion w/a bronzer in it.. This will make your tan more even.
