Tanning beds?

I am very fair-skinned and i have red hair and blue eyes. basically without sunscreen i burn fairly easy. however i plan on going to the cayman islands for spring break and i know if i don't get any kind of uv exposure i will fry when i'm down there. I've never actually gone tanning before so how long should i stay in for? suncreen?

p.s. please don't tell me that I will just get wrinkly, develop cancer and die because I'm well aware of the health concerns and I don't care to hear it.
Tanning beds?
One word: SUNSCREEN

Get the highest UVA/UVB protection you can.

Slather it on as much as possible!!!

You will probably still get a nice glow but since you have red hair you are more prone to burn so be careful!!!!!
Tanning beds?
ok, pale red hair and blue eyes.

a tann will look ridiculous on you, your going to burn down there no matter what, just reapply sunscreen every 15-30minutes, and you might survive (bring aloe vera if you dont..)
Reply:The first time i went in.. I went in for 5 minutes..

it seemed like it did nothing, but when i was done, and

removed the sticker, i could tell..

I tan very well, and never burn.. so id suggest for you...

2-3 minutes, you can always ask the salon. Usually theres

charts there that say the amount of time you should go.. with your skin tone/burning. Hope I helped! Good luck! %26amp; have fun on your spring break=)
Reply:im pale, blonde with hazel eyes. when I went tanning the suggested i went for 5 minutes for the first three times, then I worked myself up. Also, if the tanning salon you go to has different level beds use level 1 or 2, I use level 2. You may want to use level 1 if you are very fair skinned.
