Tanning Salon Electrical Costs?

i am getting ready to open up a tanning salon and my buisness plan requires that i know about how much electricity will cost me every month. I am going to have 5 beds that each take 220V plug. If any one could help me that would be great.

I have done the math on these beds many times.





Calculate the max wattage per bed=


then divide by 1000 to give your kilowatt/hr=


then multiply that by 5=


figure 6 hrs per day 6 days a week=


multiply that by 4=


that will give you the total KWHrs per month





Then call the electric company and see what kind of rate they can give you. Most likely you can get a bulk/volume discount.





Also, some electric companies will actually send someone out to help you in your calculations and see if there is a way to save electricity.
