Pityrasis rosea +tanning bed?

I have pityraisis rosea and i looked online and i saw that you can infact treat my skin condition by light treatment from UVB light, i was wondering if i went into the tanning bed, could this help clear it up a bit? What kind of rays do tanning beds give out? Will this help me or make it worse. Help please because it is ALL over my face and my face is DRY as can be and it is hurting SO bad.
Pityrasis rosea +tanning bed?
I actually am just getting over this rash myself. I was missed diagnosed. i Finally went to a Doc I can trust and not anything local and was given Prednazone to take for 5 days. The rash was going away quickly. i was told by 2 docs that, this was the worst case they could have seen it. Initially started on my chest and a little on my back but I thought it was sweat bumps because i just tanned that day. it eventually spread uncontrollably 3 weeks later I want to go back to the tanning beds but scared. I may try it tomorrow but a stand up instead of a lay down... my rash never itched until the end and it was every where except my Groin and **** cheeks, so I know it was not by the tanning beds because i go exposed. Eucerine has been helping the dry skin, oatmeal baths and Avino "absolutley radiant w/SPF 15 for the skin has worked great for my face. Please try ur best to avoid make-up... I am in the buisness of meeting people all day and I know rough it is to have this cover your face.. I have never had acne issues as a teen and now at 28 I had to deal with it. if you have any advice for me or would like to share how you found on your experience i am interested, thanks
