What is a good TANNING lotion to get... what NOT to get.... Cost, whatever else you can tell me....?

I ITCH whenever I get in the tanning bed (my back %26amp; sometimes my stomach) anyone know of any tanning lotions that will help this?

You have to get a tanning lotion that is specifically for a tanning bed... not for the outdoors. I would suggest something with a bronzer in it which will give you a darker tan faster. It's basically a self-tanner that works with the tanning. I would make sure that it doesn't have "hot stuff" or "cooling complex" in it. That stuff is crazy... it brings your red blood cells to the surface of your skin and catches the light - when you're done tanning you'll be bright red for about half an hour... then the cells bring your tan down deeper into your skin giving you a darker longer lasting tan. I never used the stuff though. It's pretty extreme. Tanning lotions can range from $15 all the way up to $45 or more. Whatever you choose get something that says moisturizing on it with a brozer. Go around to different tanning salons if the salon you go to doesn't have cheaper lotions. Flip around half-ways through your tanning time to avoid getting sweaty which could be causing your itch.

anything by Nivea
Reply:Well, I'm not sure about tanning lotion but you can get a product by Jergens called Natural Glow (for body, not face) that is a good moisturizer and makes you look tan but not orange. It's also cheap, like $5 or something
Reply:Beach Bum brand, try the Beach Bum Rum with bronzer. I used that stuff when I went tanning and it was the darkest I've ever gotten. Didn't itirate my skin either.
