like to know is it ok to wear any type of no name tanning lotion to the tanning salon? and any tips to help me tan wonderfully would also be great as well:)

i went for a month str8 and jus used the banana boat indoor tanning lotion..... and i got dark i jus bought it at walmart for 6 dollars.. i dont think it matters... if u think it matters i would go for the cheeky brown by australia gold its great also and i would go for the swedish beauty .... or i would use the australia gold um... with the hemp its good also...

You have to be careful to wear only what the salon owner says is OK. You can harm your skin and ruin the tanning equipment.
Reply:You no what? i would personaly NEVER EVER go to the tanning salon because..., it can give you skin cancer my mom had it...it was bad...=(
Reply:I think so but when i went to my tanning salon i got some tanning lotion with bronzer in it and i got the perfect little golden tan. It was very cute!!!!
Reply:Please don't go bed tanning. Did you know that half an hour in a tenning bed is 8 hours worth of sun damage? It is honestly so bad for you. Skin cancer is on the rise, especially among teenagers. And yes I am one. I am not some 30 year old mother who is trying to lecture you. I have a friend who used to go tanning who know has what looks like first degree melanoma (ie. the deadliest form of skin cancer) but is too afraid to check it out and yes I have tried forcing her. If you want a tan, exfoliate REALLY well and go airbrushing. It's gorgeous!
Reply:I actually hopped in today for the first time with one of my friends and im only 16 so theres nothing to be scared of. I would recommend going to Beach Bum Tanning Salon. Its the best one out there. You could print a coupon that give you a week free since you are new. You can also buy a month for $20 using another coupon on there site. Its all set up for you there. They have the goggles so you don't have to worry about buying any. You can even go in the bed naked. They have nice private rooms and the fan in the bed is great. Start off with the platinum tanning beds for your first or second time. Then move on. They'll help you there.
