I'm going tanning...my girlfriend says she tans nude...which is fine... I'm wondering if I should (I hate tan lines by the way)
O I'm a guy if you didn't already get that
Do you wear any clothes when tanning...I'm going next week and am not sure if I want to or not?
Do what your girl friend wants you to do.
Hope it helps.

Well, if you don't want tan lines, go nude, that's what I do. Make sure to put more lotion on, though, because your skin starts to dry out a bit.
Reply:hmm...yeah...I'm gonna have to have you keep all of your clothes on, yeah...in fact wear some thick full body pjs and a hooded cap or a bag...yeah and I'm going to need you to do this until you can decide for your self.
Reply:If you have never been tanning I would wear something down there! You wouldn't want it to burn! Ouch! Wear boxer briefs or just cover up with a small towel. Don't wear a shirt or anything else.
Reply:well no tan lines are the sexiest.
I like it when a guy is tanned all over it makes me tingle when I see his sexy bronze.
Reply:yes go nude but be careful with the sensitive parts ya know you can use sun screen on Mr wiggle
Reply:if you don't want tan lines then go nude, and no i don't wear clothes when tanning. just do what you feel comfortable in.
Reply:don't go tanningggg
use the sun if you want a tan

Are tanning and tattoos a bad mix?
can tanning alot ruin ur tat?
Are tanning and tattoos a bad mix?
Yes. Your tattoo will fade drastically.
Are tanning and tattoos a bad mix?
It can make it fade, be sure to put sunscreen over them if you are going to tan or be in the sun.
Reply:It will fade your tattoo, yes...but if you go to certain tanning salons, they have things you stick on where your tattoo is and it covers it while you tan.
Reply:Oh yeah, for one, it will fade. But it will alot dry it out and possibly burn it. Think of it as an open would. It's way more sensitive to light and you don't want to cook your new piece of art, right?
Reply:Yes but I don't like tats much anyway but if you do then bye all means take the appropriate action before going sunning

I have a tanning booth question....?
If you use tanning beds or booths, do you wear a swimsuit, or do you just go "Au'Natural" to avoid tan lines?
I have a tanning booth question....?
All natural is the definite way to go!!! you don't get tan lines but if you do wear a swimsuit it looks more natural and gives it a I sat in the sun effect.
GOOD LUCK
I have a tanning booth question....?
When I did go, I used to go topless. I couldn't go totally nude. I don't know why, just couldn't. Now I use the spray booths and I still won't go bottomless. ;)
Reply:Depends on what you want to go home with?
Reply:Depends do u want tan lines or not?
Reply:It's up to you, if you want a full body tan then all you will need on is your birthday suit, but if you dont want to be cought like a deer in the headlights if someone walks in then wear somthing to cover up the ole' package.
Reply:i myseld go nateral to avoid tan lines.
just be careful becuase if you do not put sunscreen on your but you tend to burn since its really light compared to the rest of the body since it stays hidden.
Reply:don't wear long shorts or swim trunks because u don't want anybody to see your ugly tan lines. maybe wear a speedo or nothing at all.
Reply:all natural!!!
Reply:it really doesn't matter its how you feel.i go natural after all no tan line looks better and natural. plus there's no cameras
Reply:I haven't gone in a long time, but when I did I used the tanning bed and I didn't wear anything but a little playboy bunny sticker on my hip bone
Reply:I work at a tanning salon %26amp; most people go w/o anything. If you don't feel comfortable, then wear a swim suit %26amp; just use sunless tanning lotion to fill in the lines.
Reply:you can go naked but atleast put something on.
Reply:I don't like tan lines....so, au'natural for me! ;0)
Reply:tanlines aren't very attractive so go "Au'Natural" ;)
Reply:you should just wear boxers or regular shorts..but i wouldnt go tanning..its healthier to just get a tan by going to the beach or getting sprayed
Reply:you usually wear a swimsuit but i've heard of some places you can go nude if you have ur own u can go naked but personally i won't use tanning beds they can give you skin cancer

Will tanning help my Rosacea and Psoriasis?
I have a mild case of both psoriasis and rosacea..will tanning help it not flare up as much?
Will tanning help my Rosacea and Psoriasis?
Very careful sun exposure can help psoriasis, but may make the rosacea worse. My psoriasis improved with about 20 minutes of sun exposure daily, but I had to use a hat to shade my face due to rosacea
I have now switched to using Enbrel (injections I give myself once a week) and am very happy with it. My psoriasis is 90% gone. It is such a major relief!!!!!
Will tanning help my Rosacea and Psoriasis?
No. The one has nothing to do with the other. Rosacea is due to blood flooding your surface blood vessels. Psoriasis has to do with skin shedding. And tanning has to do with damaging your skin in order to cause your body to produce melanin. If anything tanning will make it worse because it damages skin and makes it less able to heal itself.
Reply:Unlikely....and you may get skin cancer, as well as other unsightly spots (sun spots, for instance....which are usually associated w/older people, but I got one in the past year and I'm 25). Anyway, any benefits of tanning are miniscule compared to the damage.
Reply:No. Try drinking eight 8oz glasses of water, eating balanced meals. Stay away from too much sugar and white bread.
Reply:UV light (in moderation) will most likely help psoriasis.
I may also suggest the anti-psoriasis herbal cream from Champori.com : it works better than anything else for my plaque psor.
Best,
Bernadette

Self tanning lotion...?
i use natural glow self tanning iv'e used it for a couple of days and my hands are starting to turn orange and i cant see a difference in my color am i doing something wrong?!?!?
Self tanning lotion...?
try exfoliating before you use the tanner to get rid of the dead skin a sugar exfoliate works best. Wash hands after you use the tanner and if u still have some coloring on your palms then try lemon juice and salt to remove the color.
Self tanning lotion...?
I used Jergens Natural Glow and never had that problem. It really turned my skin a nice glowing tan color, but I didn't have it on my hands. Maybe you aren't rubbing it into your skin enough? I would try to wash your hands afterwards. It will take a few days to really see results.

Why is it that when i do go tanning in a bed .........?
i come out looking overly dark like some one who lives in florida if i go 10- 15 minute sessions every day for 1 week
but if I go every other day for 1 week My skin acts as if i never went ?
also when i use tanning lotions , i never tan come out red but the effect last just for that day then goes away when i hop in the shower...?
I also will take advise on tips to make tanning easier , more fullfield , I just want a better tan ... let me know if ya go anything ( advise ) that is ...
Why is it that when i do go tanning in a bed .........?
fake it! MUCH SAFER AND BETTER. st tropez spray tan at the salon is perfect, if not use tan towels for a great even colour
Why is it that when i do go tanning in a bed .........?
i`m the same way, because my complection is very fair...that`s why i end up going every day, because i don`t like being so white %26amp; pasty!!! have u tried using any of the tingle lotions? that`s really the only thing i can use that will get me super-dark...i recommend "hot tottie" by pro tan...also, make sure u are using a moisturizing lotion after u shower, because hydrated skin tans better %26amp; keeps color longer...
Reply:I go to a tanning bed everyday. I am kinda pretty hard to tan. You look dark when you come out but when you take a shower, It usually takes a day or two to actually tell the results. The tanning lotions you use, If you are comming out red, then you need to use a lotion that tans not burns. If you go to a tanning salon, Ask the woman that works in there whats the best lotion for you. If you tan at home...Where ever you buy your lotions at, Read the bottles or ask for help. I never get red because I don't use tanning lotion. But if you want very good results, Use a tanning lotion that has accelerator in it. It gives you better results and a beautiful tan. Also, Whenever you lay out in the sun or at a tanning salon, When you take a shower or bath, Use the lotion called " Dove Energy Glow ". I use it and the results are exellent. It has a subtle self tanner but it says with you and isnt orange or anything. I could go on and on about tanning cuz it's something i love to do. Any questions email me @ cutiebooty523@yahoo.com. I hoped I've helped.
Reply:The reason you probably feel you dont tan yet turn red when you use lotion maybe because of the color in the lotion ( if it has a bronzer) hence it coming off in the shower.
I've also learned that some of it is just in your head. Somedays I look at my skin and think that I am pasty white then I stand next to one of my friends and I look like I just got back from a summer in Mexico.
Like the first gal said moisturizing is VERY important. It'll keep your skin much happier especially if you're tanning everyday. I've also found it important to exfoliate once a week or so. It keeps your skin super soft a pretty also helping to get rid of dead skin that will block the rays
Good luck!
Reply:I am a tanning adict and I know what you mean...try the lowest bed they have for 20 min. every day for a week or so until you get a nice base tan, then use the different beds. dont take a shower until 2 hours after you have tanned. and right when you get out put lotion on..I use baby lotion. dont get fooled in to buying the after tanning expensive lotions...a waste.I use outdoor tanning lotion indoor. I just dont tell them. Also when there is about 5-8 min. left in the 20 min. tan, i flip over. try different tanning places too. find coupons in the back of the phone book where they have like one week of free tanning, stuff like that so while your "trying out" thier beds, its free.
Reply:all im sayin is that you shouldnt tan so much because that can make u get skin cancer
Reply:well i was going tanning 3 times a week using an accelerator in a level 2 tanning bed and i got very tan then i started going in a stand up cause my chest wasnt tanning but anyways try going in a higher level bed and go every other day like mondays wed and fridays for likr 10 mins it should work that what i did then when u get used to it start going for more time like 12 mins then 14 mins good luck
Reply:Stop waisting your money on unsatisfactory tanning. I suggest Avon's Satin Glow Airbrush Spray. It has a conditioning mist that delivers instantly soft skin with a natural, even glow that develops gradually. Or Satin Glow Daily Body Moisturizer - softens skin as the color enhancer gradually brings out a natural, healthy glow. Try Satin Glow Smoothing Body Wash - moisturizing lather with softening exfoliators prepares your skin for even, long lasting color. You can control the amount of color you get. All on sale. 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back! Best way to tan now-a-days. Excessive exposure to the harmful rays omitted from the sun and tanning lamps can be hazardous to your health and skin.

Reply:We are tanned naturally and are brown in india. I am actually fair but if I go even for half an hour in the sun I become brown. It is because of the melanin concentration which is more in me than with my father, mother or my brothers. It is only for me. So some genetic factors are the reason behind this.

Fair-skinned, wanting tanning advice?
I'm of irish/german decent with really fair skin. I'm heading to the beach for a weekend trip in about two weeks and want to come away with some color OTHER than Lobster Red.
Any advice on:
Pre-tanning prodecures to help?
Tanning lotions/oils that do the trick?
Best SPF to get, and how often to apply?
Any other things you know that work......
Thanks!!!
Fair-skinned, wanting tanning advice?
Unfortunately with your ancestry you don't stand a good chance. Keep the spf high, near the 40 to 50 range. Many researchers are saying that it is worse to go to a tanning bed because the doses of radiation are so concentrated. If you reapply the sunscrean every few hours you might be able to get a little bit of tan, but be ready for a burn first (it just goes with the skin tone). You can get moisturizers that will tint your skin %26amp; that will even help with later tanning a little.
Fair-skinned, wanting tanning advice?
THE BEST WAY TO DO IT IS TO GO TO A TANNING PLACE AND THEY WILL HELP YOU GET A BASE TAN WITHOUT BURNING YOURSELF IT WILL ONLY TAKE A WEEK OR SO AFTER THAT JUST GET LIKE A LOWER SPF LOTION AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE
Reply:Don't bother pre-tanning. Get the highest SPF lotion. Consumer Reports rated Neutrogena brand the best. Reapply every few hours or more frequently when swimming. The best way to avoid a burn is to stay out of the sun during the peak hours by getting inside or using a beach umbrella.
Reply:if you are as nice looking as your avatar, you don't need a tan.
Reply:Get a couple sessions at an indoor tanning salon that will help build you a base tan. Once you are at the beach wear sunblock (water proof SPF with UVA and UVB block) and do not forget to reapply it since you will be in and out of water. Have fun!
Reply:I'm in the same boat as you, and you should just face the music. Unless you want skin cancer, don't bother trying to get tan. I'm not saying to hide from the sun or anything, but you aren't going to get as tan as you really want without doing serious damage to your skin that you will regret later. Remember: fair skin ages much much better.
Reply:Tanning at the beach is cancer on the sand. Grease yourself with plenty of sunscreen and apply it frequently.
Go home every night and apply a self-tanner. Most of them are pretty good. Bath and Body works has a scented one. Loreal has some good ones....both the tanning cloths and the spray work well. You'll come back bronze and healthy tan-looking but without the skin damage.
Follow the directions on the label, though. Moisturize dry areas like elbows, knees, backs of your ankle, etc, so more tanner doesn't soak into those areas and look darker. The stuff now is so good that it's pretty hard to mess it up.
YOu can even start 'tanning' tonight. Have fun on your weekend trip!
Reply:I'm Irish German and Russian..beat that!
I started tanning a few years ago. You start out in a low level bed for a short amount of time. Gradually you can go up and you will start to see color.
Of course everything should be done in moderation..new research suggests that people fear tanning and the sun so much that we are getting sick from decreased levels of vitamin D. Don't over do it! and be watchful of your skin.
As for pre-tanning procedures
- Moisturize! You don't need a tanning salons expensive lotions.
Jergens works fine!
After tanning
- DRINK A BOTTLE OF WATER, tanning dehydrates you.
Reply:I'm the same as you. I've learned that I just don't really tan, and if I try, I burn. It's a losing battle. So I'd say just slather on the SPF 500 this weekend, and get some fake tanning spray or lotion. Don't risk skin cancer just to get what will be a burn :(
