Do you wear anything while in the tanning booth?

How would you feel about tanning in a gender specific dormitory style tanning room, with several tanning beds? Would you be too self-concious about it or no big deal?

I would probably have no problem with it, as long as people don't stare at you and mind thier own business... I don't wear anything in a tanning bed...

Reply:Wear a bathing suit. Back when I wanted tan lines (my husband liked it) I had a pair of small thongs I kept in my purse and I would wear them. As for the top all I can think of is a bathing suit. Me myself, I would find another tanning salon!

Reply:LOTS of sunscreen- UVA and UVB- or you will be battling skin cancer later inlife.
Reply:i'm not overly self-concious, but as a mother of two with a full-time job, i really value that 30 minutes of total privacy that get @ the tanning salon, where i wear nothing but a satisfied smile while i tan ....

Reply:NO BIG DEAL AT ALL.. go for it. If You have never been.. protect the goods because they could burn.. and Your eyes ofcourse but other than that.. go nude and look great. People always notice a nice tan.. :-)
Reply:No big deal. I do it and in the nude. Everyone is there for the same reason and really don't care what the other guy is or isn't wearing. The place I go to, most tan in the nude. Hate tan lines.
